At 35,864 acres, the Cranberry Wilderness Area, located within the Monongahela National Forest is one of the largest in the eastern United States. Over 50 miles of maintained hiking trails let you explore the forest of Appalachian hardwoods, populated with deer, wild turkeys, grouse, rabbits, min, fox, bobcats and a diversity of birds.

Directions:
Go South-West from Elkins on US-219 [S Randolph Ave] for 71.6 miles
Bear RIGHT (North) onto SR-39 [SR-55] for 6.4 miles
Turn RIGHT (North) onto SR-150, then immediately bear LEFT (West) onto Public Road 980 for 1.6 miles
Turn RIGHT (West) onto Public Road 102 for 5.5 miles
